Adult Bible Study

At the church with a really big heart, we grow closer to God and to one another by diving into God’s word together.  Adult Bible Studies are held every Sunday morning from 9:10-10:10 a.m.  Additional evening Bible studies are offered at various times during the year.  All are welcome to come and join a Bible study on an ongoing or occasional basis.  No previous experience in Bible Study is needed.  We have a seat waiting for you!

The Sunday morning Adult Class complements weekly worship by touching on the same Bible themes.  Participants grow in faith as they discuss with one another the same Bible readings that are read in worship and how they apply to their own lives.

Previous topics in the weeknight Bible Studies include: “The Bible’s Big Picture,” which looked at the major themes and stories in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation over six weeks.  “What Does it Mean to be Lutheran?” was a class where participants discussed how they came to be at Lord of Life Church and studied Bible passages that inform our Lutheran faith.  “Stories to Tell and Gifts to Share” was a Bible Study about how God gives us all that we have and calls us to share those gifts with the church and with others.  Those who took part told their stories and grew closer as they heard how God has been at work in each another’s lives.
