New Member Orientation

Lord of Life Lutheran Church has a really big heart for meeting new brothers and sisters in Christ!  We warmly welcome our guests at worship and other ministries of our congregation and invite them to participate.  When individuals or families are ready to commit to Lord of Life as their church home, we are overjoyed to receive them into membership.

An Orientation to Lord of Life Church is held at various times during the year.  Its purpose is to help inquirers learn about the Christian faith, become familiar with the mission and ministry of the church, and begin to form relationships within the Lord of Life church family.  At the end of the Orientation sessions, those who wish to affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and make a commitment to this congregation are joyfully received into membership.

Regular attendance at worship is encouraged for those who wish to belong to Lord of Life Church.  Before attending the orientation, guests are invited to participate in Lord of Life’s ministries and attend classes and fellowship events to get to know the congregation better. 

Church members support God’s work through prayer, service, and the giving of time, talents, and monetary offerings.  Members also make a commitment to live out our church’s mission together with their brothers and sisters in Christ: to worship God, grow in faith, and reach out to others with the love of Jesus Christ.
