Women's Group
The mission of the Lord of Life Women’s Group is to:
The group meets monthly (on the 3rd Monday) from 7 – 9 p.m., except July and August.
Ongoing projects, with the help of the congregation include: Layettes and quilts for Lutheran World Relief in New Windsor, MD; Christmas bags for Sunday School; and Seafarer boxes for those traveling in the U.S. and foreign countries.
We donate to local organizations, which include (but not limited to): SARC, Lydia’s House, On Eagle’s Wings, ELCA Mission Investment Fund and the local Habitat for Humanity.
There is always a devotion before each meeting and we conduct Bible studies, the last being “What Is Faith” from Aletha Hinthorn’s Simply Trusting.
We attend spring and fall cluster meetings and take trips in fellowship. We enjoy Spring Fling meals and get-togethers in each others’ homes, pot luck suppers in September, and Christmas parties in December to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
As always, we would love to see some new people join this group! See our 2010 schedule of events!
