Mourning Glories

The "Mourning Glories" is an outreach ministry of Lord of Life Lutheran Church to widows who want to meet and socialize with other widows of our community.  You are warmly invited to join us.  

We welcome those who have newly become widows, as well as those who experienced the loss of a spouse many years ago.  We discuss issues related to grief and loss and other matters pertinent to life as a widow.  We are not a support group in the truest sense of the word as we do not have a trained professional leading our group.  However, we have a very flexible format and we do draw support from one another and from sharing our experiences.  All discussions are kept confidential.

Meetings are held on the 4th Friday of each month, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
